Today, while yes indeed it is Valentines Day, to us - it is simply our family day.Don't get me wrong, we have recognized the holiday and celebrated with yummy cinnamon rolls at breakfast, blizzards after lunch and a special pink cake that is planned for after dinner. There may or may not have been some chocolates squeezed in the eating agenda somewhere too.
We celebrate today with love, and as a family. We took a trip to the Family Museum and enjoyed the Bob the Builder exhibit now on display, and all the other really fun stuff for all the kids.
It was nice to get out of the house and run off some of the energy the kiddos had bottled up.
Our big plans tonight consist of a movie, our sweats, a ton of blankets laid out everywhere and cuddling with the kids. We will top it all off with baths and then the cherry on top - sleepy time.
