It was so nice to spend 2 whole days with dad without work interruptions. We were lucky enough to relax around the house and each child had some nice one on one. Alyssa likes to set up store in her bedroom and have daddy come shop. We have bags of little girls toys in our room now, but that's o.k. because she had a lot of fun. She also likes to get dressed up and have tea parties with dad. I'm not sure if Daddy actually eats any of the cookies or drinks any of the water- you never know where it came from:)
Chandler and Daddy enjoyed a lot of "Lock Time". A fun game where Daddy holds Chandler really tight and Chandler has to try and break free. There is a lot of tickling and giggling that happens and while this may seem silly - Chandler Loves to be held.
Spencer and Daddy enjoyed a couple games of Baseball on Daddy's X-Box. Daddy had the controller that was connected and Spencer played with the one that had no batteries, but he sure enjoyed winning!
When we were done relaxing - we took a nice stroll through the mall and enjoyed the ice cream of our choice from a Midwest Favorite Ice Cream shop - Whitey's. Each of the children enjoyed picking out a book from Barnes and Noble and of course some lunch in the food court.
We ended our weekend of special time with Daddy by playing at the park near our house and some really yummy watermelon.
9 more days of baseball games for Daddy before another day off! Whew, We can't wait! We sure love you Daddy!
