It's strange to think that we are all now 2,000 miles away from our family. This is a great new adventure for all of us.Chan has started school and loves it. He is quickly making new friends, but deeply misses his old associations. He talks about his friends back home often, and already wants to come and visit.
Daddy is home more. His commute went from an hour and a half each way to just under six minutes. With the difficulty with our pregnancy, it is great that he is so close to home, and that we are a
minute and a half from the hospital where the new baby will be born. The new job is treating us great too. C loves going to work, and really likes everyone he works with. We can't wait for opening day - April 3rd. Hopefully the snow will be gone by then. The ballpark is beautiful and rests right on the river. It is an amazing sight, and we all can't wait to see it during the Summer.
Speaking of snow, we have about four inches on the ground today, but that is expected to be gone tomorrow. Then expected to return before the end of this week. It's not the snow that is the problem, it's the
minus 25 degrees that frequents the weather pattern here. I know we will get used to it, but that is going to take a while.During a doctor's visit last week we discovered yet another small complication with the baby, and today M is undergoing tests to make sure that things will be OK. This pregnancy (our last), has been a challenge, but we are all confident that things will be fine.
So, with that short update - HI! to everyone back home. We miss you, and are excited for all of you to come out and visit.... This Summer when it's a tad warmer!
