Looking Back

Alyssa - 18 months old and Cory's favorite Face!
Chandler, 2 1/2 - as the red power ranger (he did this daily)
Chandler - 3, Sarah - 5, & Alyssa - 2
Daddy, Chandler and Alyssa - Seattle Temple Grounds 2005
Chandler - 2 years old
Spencer - 19 months old - looking a lot like Chandler with those big eyes.

Alyssa and mommy - June 2004 - oh how much fun they are when they are this little :)
Spencer - at 2 months old
Kady - at 4 weeks old - looking a lot like Spencer with those chubby cheeks!

It is nice to take a look back at pictures and remember when they didn't talk back, and did what you asked them to do. Chandler is going to be turning 7 this year and keeps talking about things he is going to do when he is 13. Slow down already! It only makes me feel older and yet there are days that Cory and I remember and talk about often - our days before kids - you know the sleeping in until 11 in the morning - the eating out in restaurants when ever we wanted, and having money to spend on ourselves. Even though we look back and "Remember When" I wouldn't change a thing. I love each and every one of our sweet little babies and all of the challenges and changes they have brought to our life. It has only made us Wiser and feel more accomplished in our ever changing life! Thank Heaven for the blessing of the Pitter Patter of many little feet, a promise we were given the day we were married almost 8 years ago!

Dancing Porcupine at Niabi Zoo

After seeing the Porcupine at the zoo, I realized that it was what Kady's hair reminded me of. No matter what I do to her hair - it stands up like a porcupines. I do think the porcupine has a little more control of his hair though. :) Check out those dance moves - Sweet!

Our Visit to the Niabi Zoo

We went to the Niabi Zoo across the River in Illinois this weekend. The kids had a great time! The zoo is a lot smaller than any of the zoo's we are used to going to - but was perfect for the tiny legs to walk it.

Tradition

Introducing the latest addition to our collected tradition. Grandma Thelma has shared with us her gift of Cross Stitch after each baby has been born. This is something that Cory and I both enjoy and look forward to. The Cross Stitch has the baby's name and weight at birth along with their birth date. (This has been helpful even for me) :)
Today we received Kady's Cross Stitch in the mail, and wanted to share! We haven't had a chance to add it to the wall yet, but it will be there soon.
Thank you Grandma Thelma! We love it!
I've included pictures of all the kids cross stitches starting with Chandler's, Alyssa's, Spencer's, and Kady's at the bottom in pink.

blessing Kady

It is always a special time to witness the blessing of a baby. I am so very thankful for Cory and his priesthood to be able to provide such a wonderful gift to our family. Today we blessed baby Kady in sacrament in a very small circle. We missed not having our family to enjoy this with us, but we thank you for all of your love. We want to give Grandma Thelma a special Thank you for the Beautiful Dress! She was adored by all.
